Yoga Sutras on the Mat
Sunday, March 27th
An introduction on how to use sound on the mat. In this workshop we will slowly recite short, yoga sayings, or sutras, as a part of the flow of postures and breath. You’ll learn how to embody yoga’s ancient wisdom in your practice. Sound heightens the beneficial effects of yoga practice, including health effects. It’s a peaceful, heartfelt practice that is easy to learn.
The short sutras have themes to keep up our spirits and determination as we pursue new intentions in 2016. Beginning level students are welcome.
Please note: this workshop is being offered by donation. 100% of the proceeds will be donated directly to Common Ground.
