Yoga at Cardinal Point Vineyard, May 14th

Come enjoy yoga and a wine tasting at one of Albemarle’s friendliest vineyards! Join Common Ground for All Levels Yoga with Kimberly Gladysz at Cardinal Point Vineyard & Winery, Saturday, May 14th from 11:00am to 12:15pm. 

Cardinal Point is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and has a casual, welcoming atmosphere. This class will be a great fit for beginners or more experienced students who enjoy a thoughtful, meditative pace.

This event is a fundraiser for Common Ground, and supports our organization’s mission to make health and wellness affordable and accessible in Charlottesville.

Tickets for the event are $25, and include the class and a wine tasting which will follow directly after. Please bring your own mat.

This event is rain or shine, and the yoga class will be held on the covered deck in event of rain.

Cardinal Point is a family owned an operated vineyard with over 15 acres under vine. At Cardinal Point, the winemaker is also the vineyard manager. With 24 years of experience growing vitus vinifera vines at Cardinal Point, Tim Gorman’s expertise as a grower shows up in the quality of his wines.

Common Ground Healing Arts is a wellness studio located in downtown Charlottesville, VA committed to engaging the whole community in healthy living.

We offer yoga, massage, acupuncture and meditation on a sliding scale based on income, and take some of these services at no charge to public housing, low income nursing clinics, and the Fluvanna women’s prison.

When Kimberly was 5 years old, she wore a hula skirt everyday for a month. Her love for dance and the waves continues. She loves the way yoga helps her to enjoy life more from the inside out. As a yogini, she has been practicing for the past 18 years with a strong and fluid foundation in ashtanga yoga with Richard Freeman, and has been teaching gentle vinyasa flow. As a mindful leadership coach, she presents stress management for resiliency programs for organizational development and wellbeing.
