Our hands are extensions of the heart and our voice bridges the mind with the heart!Combining hand postures (mudras) with sacred song and chant (mantras); we will explore and embrace the qualities of Joy, Peace, Love, Trust, Gratefulness and Compassion. This series will aim at building a joyful and supportive community through sacred sound, conscious breath and creative expression.Each class will begin with warm intentions and guided imagery to center us in the heart space. We will then flow into hand postures and simple sequences accompanied by mantras to strengthen our connection to the heart. There will be pdf files available for personal practice, and all classes will be supported by various combinations of shruti box, singing bowls, kotamo and drumming.
Through this unique practice of Bhakti, we will deepen our personal experience of lovingkindness and devotion; broadening the parameters of the Heart into a flourishing Lotus. Om Ham Yam, Shanti Yam, Om Hridayam!
This course will be offered on Thursdays from 6:00pm-7:30pm, January 7th through February 11th, 2021. This is a live virtual class held via Zoom. The meeting link will be sent in your registration confirmation email.

About the instructor: Megan Sprague is a local sound maker, landscaper and caregiver. After experiencing her first sound bath in 2010, she knew that sound was her path into the heart. She has received multiple sound healing trainings and certificates and has been sharing sonic offerings in our community since 2015. She believes that the voice is our most powerful healing instrument and that through heart centered practices we can create profound global healing. Her personal mantra is “Joy, Peace, Love, Trust, Health, Happiness, Harmony.”
Megan is available for one on one sound healing sessions, vocal toning/chanting support, and for community sound baths and workshops.
