Slow and Stretchy Yoga

When life feels tense or has just turned blah, pause during your week to unwind and refresh. Join Lili Powell for a weekly class that helps you remember the simple pleasure of a good stretch and connect with a smile from a Charlottesville neighbor. Slow and Stretchy Yoga is open to all who want to practice in a welcoming and safe alignment-based class with opportunities to pause and ask questions. Weekly topics address yoga essentials: posture, strength, flexibility, balance, mind and mood, and spirit.

This course will be offered on Thursdays, October 22nd – November 19th, 2020 from 5:30pm – 6:45pm. This is a live virtual class held via Zoom. The meeting link will be sent in your registration confirmation email.

About Lili Powell: Lili enjoys leading classes in a warm and welcoming environment. Lili has practiced yoga since 2000 and completed the Yoga Source 200-hour teacher training in 2005. In addition to studying yoga, she also practices Pilates and mindfulness meditation. Connected to Charlottesville for over 35 years, Lili is grateful for the opportunity to serve Common Ground’s mission and our local community. She lives in town with her husband and their kitty, Pippin, who is named for the famous Albemarle apple.
