This series will offer a well-balanced and integrative yoga practice that includes breath awareness, warm-ups, varied standing and floor poses, relaxation, and meditation. Each week will present a unifying theme. Focus is placed on cultivating deeper self-awareness and understanding of poses. This series is appropriate for advanced beginners and beyond.
This course will be offered Mondays, 5:30 to 6:45 pm, October 14th – November 19th.
The full value of this class is $120.

Cynthia Woodring has been teaching yoga in the Charlottesville area since 1995. She has a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy, is certified with the International Association of Yoga Therapists, is a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist, and is at the highest level of registration with the national Yoga Alliance.
Known for teaching with precision and eloquence, Cynthia teaches an awareness- and alignment-based style of hatha yoga and enjoys weaving an anatomical or philosophical theme through her classes. She is passionate about refining her understanding of all aspects of yoga and strives to find the language and methods that will provoke the deepest understanding and transformation for her students.
