Taoism in the Traditional Eastern Healing Arts

The traditional eastern healing arts of herbal medicine, Tai Chi, Qigong & Acupressure were developed within a set of principles and observations that originate from Taoism.  Paul Olko, a master herbalist & practitioner of Chinese medical massage, will guide you on a journey of connection between Taoist thought and how it is applied clinically to your wellness.  Please join us for this very special event.

Paul Olko has studied herbology, natural medicine, bodywork, and philosophy with a variety of luminaries for the past 40 years. His life long studies have led him to receive certifications from the Southeastern School of Naturopathy and from the Academy of Oriental Heritage in Vancouver, B.C, as well as completing trainings in Tui Na massage, Qigong, and Tai Chi at the Florida Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  In 1989 he completed his Masters and certification as an herbalist from East West Herbal School. Paul is certified by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Asian Bodywork Therapy and board certified as a Diplomate of Chinese Herbology by the National Council for the Certification of Acupuncturists in Washington, D.C.

About C’ville Satsang:

C’ville Satsang is a monthly gathering of diverse individuals that is dedicated to building a diverse community.  We are from various healing and wellness modalities, we are seekers, people longing for authentic connections, and people wanting to make positive changes in their lives.  Each month we have a new guest speaker, teacher, or presenter from the community come share their wisdom and knowledge as a way for us to grow and evolve on our spiritual path.   Guest teachers and topics range from Yoga, Meditation, Metaphysics, Vedic Astrology, Tea Tasting, Kirtan, Crystal Healing, Shamanism, Sufi Dancing, and much more.   Variety allows us to explore multiple modalities and meet leaders in our community and understand the resources available to us. Many of our guests are know and teach worldwide. It is an honor to have astounding and gifted volunteers each month.
