Jessie Tosto Specialties: Swedish Massage

Reflexology
Jessica Tosto, second only to raising two children, the most precious part of my life has been providing services as a massage therapist. My experience is that the transformation taking place during massage transcends explicable aspects of healing and remains a creative mystery. Artistic joy is for me found in the plasticity of this realm and the realization of possibility. My work is a synthesis of over twenty years experience in modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, craniosacral, reflexology, and acupressure. That being said, it is not so much the doing as it is the allowing of well-being. Discretionary time will often find me with music, as I play flute in multiple bands and flute choirs. Having begun lessons at age 55, my motto is “It’s never too late!” In that vein, I began training for the C’ville 10-miler at age 63.

Virginia Linder discovered early in life (pre-teen) a love for giving massage, with her mother, mother’s friends and grandmother as proactive recipients. Later, Virginia rediscovered her fascination with bodywork when Zero Balancing became an extremely stabilizing influence during a particularly difficult adjustment period in her life. This time period inspired Virginia to study with USCI in Ft. Collins, CO and gain certification as a massage therapist, in order to pass on the fabulous benefits she has received. Zero Balancing is now a favorite modality of study and exploration.
