This four-week series will incorporate a variety of yoga techniques for cultivating calm in the midst of challenge, with an emphasis on finding that space not only during class, but also in daily life. In addition to class time, weekly sequences will be provided that students can practice at home. At the end of the series, students will also be provided with an individualized sequence for continued home practice. All levels are welcome, and this class is most appropriate for those who want to start or deepen a home practice.
This course will be offered on Wednesdays, 7:30pm – 9:00pm, September 9th through September 30th. This is a live virtual class held via Zoom. The meeting link will be sent in your registration confirmation email.

Kate Zuckerman began teaching yoga in 2002 and founded The Guerrilla Yoga Project in 2008 and Common Ground Healing Arts in 2012 to address inequities in who has access to these valuable healing practices. She has taught in community centers, yoga studios, churches, and prisons. As a Co-Director of Charlottesville Yoga School, she trained more than 90 yoga teachers in a Yoga Alliance-certified program. Her teaching emphasizes presence, peace, and poise within each pose.
