Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation give us the tools to self-regulate our thoughts, emotions and beliefs. This 8 week course will provide a consistent practice each week to support transformation, healing and recovery from our hectic modern lifestyle.
Formerly Yoga of Recovery/Yoga for Emotional Balance this course uses yoga therapeutics to address behaviors that take us looking outside of ourselves for happiness. Modern day life has us reaching out in all types of ways for satisfaction, approval and happiness. Netflix binges, relationships, ciggarrettes -fill in the blank- basically anything we can get our hands on!
Thoughts and emotions are transitory -they come and go, the Science of Yoga offers us a way into our own resource, the serenity that is our true nature. This class is open to all levels of experience.
This course will be offered on Wednesdays, May 30th – July 18th from 7:00 – 8:30 pm.
You can pay online for the series in increments of $10 between $35-$140. You are also welcome to pay over the phone at 434-218-7677, or in person at our Jefferson School location when we have other services going on.
Please note: No substitutions. Cancellations for this series must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the first class, refunds will not be issued after this point. Refunds are not available for missed classes.
