Yoga at Bold Rock Hard Cider, October 29th

Get yourself out into beautiful Nelson County and enjoy bucolic views, enlivening yoga, and refreshing cider at All Levels Yoga at Bold Rock Hard Cider, Saturday, October 29th from 11:00am to 12:15pm with Julia J. von Briesen. 

IMG_1065 (1)Bold Rock Hard Cider is housed in a gorgeous rustic timber frame barn overlooking the Rockfish River. The yoga class will look out on the bucolic Rockfish Valley landscape, and will be a great fit for beginners or more experienced students who enjoy a thoughtful, meditative pace.

Tickets for the event are $25, and include the class and a cider tasting which will follow directly after. Please bring your own mat. This event is a fundraiser for Common Ground, and supports our organization’s mission to make health and wellness affordable and accessible in Charlottesville.

About Bold Rock Hard Cider:
Located in Nelson County near Nellysford, Virginia, the flagship Bold Rock Cider Barn opened in August 2014 and represents Bold Rock’s headquarters, center of operations and primary cider production facility. The ‘Chapel of Apple’ as it is affectionately known is a beautifully rustic timber frame barn overlooking the Rockfish River that utilizes locally sourced apples crushed and crafted in the Blue Ridge Mountains to create our award winning cider.

Common Ground Healing Arts is a wellness nonprofit located in downtown Charlottesville, VA committed to engaging the whole community in healthy living.

julia-j-von-briesenJulia J. von Briesen  Having always been an avid athlete with a meditation practice, Julia has been most challenged by practicing yoga. She considers her yoga mat a “magic carpet” that literally carries a person through physical, emotional and spiritual transformations, healing from the past, strengthening mindfulness and attention to the here and now, and opening space for the future. A certified health coach, Julia is a graduate of The Institute for Integrative Nutrition as well as a graduate of Pete Guinosso’s 200 hour teacher training in San Francisco. She has also completed several Vipassana meditation courses as taught by S.N. Goenka that influence her yoga teaching. Experience the integration of your breath and body in a loving and playful Vinyasa class with Julia.
