Common Ground is very excited to offer this upcoming NCBTMB massage CE workshop:
Spring Special! $139 (Book now!)
*regular price is $159, special is for this May 15th workshop only.
The essence of any masterful therapeutic practice is the quality of presence embodied by the therapist. Presence is the capacity to bring forth the totality of who we are and how we extend that in our interactions with others. In this workshop you will learn how to utilize the power of presence to amplify your massage techniques and cultivate deep listening.
We will focus on developing a coherent and compelling presence through the research-based tools of mindfulness and meditation. Experience these practices along with the use of breath awareness, sound and movement to increase your resilience, happiness and health. Learn how mindfulness practice restores energy, increases awareness of internal body messages, and helps shift unhealthy patterns to positive ones. This highly experiential massage CE course will enable you to integrate mindfulness practices immediately into your work.
Tracey is a thoughtful, clear, kind, and effective teacher. Tracey’s experience as a body- and breath-worker gives her specific insight in the skills necessary to bringing compassionate presence to your healing practice. You may be familiar with several forms of mindfulness-based practices, but Tracey’s presentation and experiential guidance will ground you in this work such that you will return to your practice refreshed and able to support yourself in your on-going care of your clients.
