About C’ville Satsang
C’ville Satsang is a local group of like-minded individuals seeking a greater sense of community and connection through the love of all things yoga. Once a month we gather together to play, practice, discuss, meditate or chant. This group is intended as a collaboration between teachers, students and the yoga curious as a way to keep expanding our knowledge and loving support off our mats.

You are invited to join us for an afternoon of blissful chanting with Sitara Maldonado
For over two decades, Sitara has been helping people live joyful and fulfilling lives. Integrating multiple healing modalities, Sitara developed Sanación Sitara© a unique healing approach connecting us back to our natural, balanced state of peace and well-being.
Sitara has always been a music lover. She has been singing since she was a child. She was first exposed to chanting in 1990 when she first visited Kripalu Center and fell in love with this beautiful heart-opening spiritual practice. She has since been creating community of like-hearted people with this high energy call and response tradition.
Sitara is the first Puerto Rican to release a kirtan CD (devotional chants from India). Nilanjana includes eight heart-opening musical pieces with mantras and healing sounds made by Sitara along with many Indian-inspired musical guests including special appearances by Benjy Wertheimer and Sean Johnson! Nilanjana has different styles of music and different rhythms that some have described as a masterpiece. This is world music designed to awaken and enliven the soul! Lynsie McKeown – Yoga came into Lynsie’s life during a challenging time of transition and loss. The practice of Yoga provided a way to transform struggle into opportunity and she continues to draw inspiration from the never-ending journey of the human heart. Her devotion for greater awareness and spiritual growth are reflected in her teaching and writing. She strives to support, uplift and empower others to walk their own path to healing and growth with courage, authenticity and grace.
Lynsie also holds a BA in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia, is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and an Assisted Thai Yoga Bodyworker.
