Zapchen is a practice of simple exercises for development and change for yourself, family or your clients. The exercises are playful, never forced and profound. They point to possibilities of change and maturation deeper than we can guess. Zapchen gives real and immediate access to the possibility of well-being. This group supports gentle, radical levels of change in the face of the fascinations of old habits of worry, pain, misery, depression and the other common challenges of the human condition. Beneficial for honoring relationship with oneself and with others. We learn together to generate and contain creativity and potency in life.
This series is for both ongoing Zapchen students and students new to Zapchen.
We will be using the book Embodying Well-Being or How to Feel as Good as You Can in Spite of Everything, by Julie Henderson.
This course will be offered on Mondays, from February 25th – April 1st from 10:30 AM – 11:45 AM.
**In case of an inclement weather cancellation, the makeup date will be Monday, April 8th.**
You can pay online for the series in increments of $10 between $30-$120. You are also welcome to pay over the phone at 434-218-7677, or in person at our Jefferson School location when we have other services going on.This series will require a minimum of 6 people to be signed-up. If we haven’t hit the minimum we will contact those already signed up so that we all have chance to recruit a friend or two in the last few days!
Please note: No substitutions. Cancellations for this series must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the first class, refunds will not be issued after this point. Refunds are not available for missed classes.
Janet Evergreen has a MA in Conflict Transformation and Trauma Healing, BA in Holistic counseling, and advanced training in Mediation, Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation. Enjoying teaching classes for over 30 years, she supports infants, children and adults to explore Pre- and Perinatal history and meet developmental needs for attachment repair, well-being, and resiliency.
