On-going Wish List:

  • Lap Top for Staff
  • Hand Soap
  • Small Trash Bags
  • Rubbing Alcohol
  • Hand Cream for Restrooms
  • Ink for Printer
  • Paper Shredder
  • Eco Friendly Hand Sanitizer
  • Paper Towels
  • Post-It Notes

Whenever we hear the question, “How can I help?” our hearts sing. While large donations are always appreciated, we absolutely understand that is not how everybody’s budget works.

The items listed above are small items that our staff uses daily, or that we provide in our studio. These are things that are often not given a second thought, but are an integral part of achieving our mission. These items may be small individually but collectively they are huge, and they represent a very easy and tangible way that you can support Common Ground.

We so appreciate these donations, and always welcome them during our business hours.

Volunteers Needed:

Being a small but growing nonprofit, Common Ground Healing Arts hopes to reach as much of Charlottesville as possible, especially underserved communities who would not otherwise have access to complementary healthcare. From our free yoga classes at Westhaven and Southwood, to our free chair massage programs at Westhaven and Crescent Hall, our outreach programs are making a difference in lives across Charlottesville.

We give many thanks to the volunteer instructors and therapists who generously offer their time and knowledge, and make our mission a reality. We are currently seeking:

  • Massage Therapists – once or twice a month to our outreach sites
  • Yoga Teachers – outreach yoga classes
  • Clean Team – We need volunteers (1 person per week) to come in weekly to wipe down yoga mats for the yoga studio in exchange for unlimited yoga.
