Common Ground currently offers the following drop-in classes each week. No advanced registration is required and class is Pay-What-You-Can $5-15 unless otherwise noted. Changes in schedule are announced via our mindbody schedule. Please check here to ensure class is happening.
Mondays, 5:30-6:45pm: Level 1 & 2 Yoga with Cynthia Woodring. Kind, friendly and educational multi-level yoga.
Tuesdays **through July 17th only***, 7:30-9:00pm: AcroYoga with Eugene Perry
Wednesdays, 12:00-1:00pm: Meditation with the Insight Meditation Community at Common Ground – offered by donation
Wednesdays, 5:30-6:30pm: Yoga with rotating teachers (through August 8th) at UVA’s Amphitheater – free class
Wednesdays, 5:45-7:00pm: QiGong with Jay DeMaio at IX Art Park
Thursdays, 12:00-1:00pm: Falun Gong with Dr. Josh Li outside at the Jefferson School – free class
Thursdays, 5:45-7:00pm: Yoga at IX Art Park with Chitra Kate McDevitt and Andi Senatro. Cash or check only.
Fridays, 12:00-1:00pm: Meditation with the Insight Meditation Community at Common Ground – offered by donation
Fridays, 6:30-7:30pm: Time for Stopping Meditation with friends of Asha Greer – offered by donation
Saturdays, 10:30-11:45am ***class taking a break in July 2018***: Level 1 & 2 Yoga with Cora Houghton. Safe, playful slow flow for intermediate students
Much of Common Ground’s yoga programming is offered in series and workshops. Classes are weekly for somewhere between 4-8 weeks, depending on the series, and the cost is equivalent to Pay What You Can $5-$20 per class. For example, 6 week series are offered Pay-What-You-Can $30-$120. Pre-registration is required. Payment for the entire series is due at the time of registration. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please arrive 15 minutes in advance if it is your first visit to Common Ground to fill out two quick forms. Students arriving more than 10 minutes late will not be admitted to class.
