Jessie TostoJessica Tosto, second only to raising two children, the most precious part of my life has been providing services as a massage therapist.  My experience is that the transformation taking place during massage transcends explicable aspects of healing and remains a creative mystery.  Artistic joy is for me found in the plasticity of this realm and the realization of possibility.

My work is a synthesis of over twenty years experience in modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, craniosacral, reflexology, and acupressure.  That being said, it is not so much the doing as it is the allowing of well-being.  Discretionary time will often find me with music, as I play flute in multiple bands and flute choirs.  Having begun lessons at age 55, my motto is “It’s never too late!”  In that vein, I began training for the C’ville 10-miler at age 63.

Kiri Gardner has been practicing massage since 2010 and completed a thorough education at East West College of the Healing Arts, a COMTA certified 800-hr. massage program in Portland, Oregon. She has been licensed and practiced in Texas, North Carolina, and now here in Virginia. Kiri specializes in goal oriented deep tissue work, as well as Swedish relaxation, and traditional Thai Yoga massage. Her passion for Thai massage led Kiri to Northern Thailand in 2011 where she trained with masters of the craft. Kiri finds massage a way of giving back and helping people relieve their bodies from pain, injury, stress, and general day-to-day life. She believes massage is a powerful tool to correct the assumption that pain is “normal”. Living a life in pain is not “normal,” and massage can help.
