April C’ville Satsang: Body Scan Meditation led by Cawood Fitzhugh
About April Satsang: Join C’ville Satsang April 7th, for yet another amazing gathering of like hearted individuals who enjoy learning new modalities to improve mental, physical and spiritual well-being. This month Cawood Fitzhugh volunteers to lead us in a “Body Scan” Meditation. It is a guided meditation for self care, using attention on the body to help create awareness of the present moment, without judgment. Studies continue to reveal meditation’s powerful effects to reduce stress, anxiety, enabling the body to heal as well as improve mental focus and clarity. Wear comfy clothes to lie down on the floor on a mat or in a chair during the time of meditation. Mats, pillows and blankets are provided. Plenty of time will be set aside for questions and answers and to connect to your fellow community members.
